In the hospital
Kicking it under the warmer...could I be more comfy and warm?
Watching TV with Daddy - Mom couldn't lie in that bed a moment longer!
I'm still getting the hang of this breastfeeding thing, so Daddy fed me some pumped breast milk with a syringe.
Mommy sure is excited to finally get to see me, even if I do have a grumpy look on my face!
Big smiles for my Daddy cuddles.

They say it's my birthday!
The big day has arrived - it's my birthday! Five in the morning, and Mom is all hooked up to the machines, getting ready to go into surgery and welcome me into the family.
Daddy is dressed up in his scrubs, getting ready to go into surgery. It's been a long road - I'm almost here!
Mom's labor and delivery nurse, Kari, checks the IV one last time as the moment gets close.
The surgery crew is all ready - here we go!
Into surgery
And here I am!
And here I am! Miss Bria Maxine Parkinson entered the world at 7:40 a.m. on Nov. 24, 2009. She weighed 7 pounds, 4 ounces, and was 19 1/2 inches long. She is perfect!
Daddy was so overjoyed to spend a moment with me under the warmers, soon after my birth.
Daddy and my nurse, Carol, looked me over after Dr. Nielsen was finished checking me out. Everything looks great - my apgar was 9.
All swaddled and ready to meet my Mom and head off to the nursery.

Meeting Mommy
In the nursery
In the nursery, the nurse and Daddy treated my eyes...
...and Daddy held my hand while she tested all my vitals...
...and they put on all my bracelets and ID tags (the one on my ankle is a security tag to keep someone other than my parents from removing me from the OB ward)...
...and weighed and measured me. All went perfectly!

Waiting for Mommy
Mommy's here!
