New tricks

Baby Bria is getting big so fast! She discovered her thumb last night, and every time she has woken up since, she has soothed herself noisily by shoving it right in her mouth, fingers straight out. It's so adorable!

She also is becoming a mover and a shaker already! She loves to lie on the floor and spin herself in circles by moving her feet and leaving her head in one place. (Daddy calls it a Homer Simpson dance...)

I had a long day...Daddy and I had to get some snuggles as it comes to a close.

First shots

I went to see Dr. Nielsen today for my first shots. Daddy says I was so brave! There was one oral medication and three shots - it takes lots for such a small person to stay healthy.

I had my DTaP (Diphtheria, Tetanus and Pertussis), Polio, Hib (Haemophilus Influenzae), pneumococcal conjugate, Rotavirus, and my second Hepatitis B vaccine. (The first Hep B was in the hospital.)

I'm growing lots, too. I am 22 inches long, and weigh 9 pounds, 7.5 ounces. (55.9 centimetres, 4.29 kilos)

Road trip

I went on a road trip today. Mommy and I went to Miles City so she could speak at a conference, and I had my first night in a hotel. I was pretty curious about this new place when we first got there, but I had my lamby, so I slept well. Then this morning I got to hang out with lots of ladies who loved me lots and lots! Mommy's friend Helen gave me snuggles while Mommy talked, and I had fun.
