Standing up

This evening I put Bria down and went to get something, she stood there and didn't fall down. She seemed quite surprised by this and turned around to see if something was holding her. It wasn't. She took a step towards me before gravity asserted itself, then everything returned to normal and she was content.

Bria loves to stand up, not holding on, but leaning her back against something. It's how the best play happens!

Sleeeeeeep!

We are so proud of Bria this morning -- for the second night in a row, she slept in her own crib, in her own room, all night! (OK, maybe she didn't sleep the whole time, but no one went to get her, so we are saying she did.) She got up at 6:30 today and 7:00 yesterday, ready for a big long nurse and a snuggle.

Food on the road

Apparently in this phase, we eat standing up.

1500 miles into the drive home from Atlanta where Mom and dad got schooled and fired up, Bria still has a smile (and a horn!)

Wendys

On the road towards Gettysburg, we stopped for Wendy's for lunch. Bria did not want any part of those baked potatoes, thank you very much.
